The goal of this inner-west townhouse was to create an inviting industrial-inspired space that felt bigger than your average terrace. Bondi Kitchens worked closely with the design-savvy client to select a blend of raw textures, tones and custom finishes that were simple yet striking.
Offset by a clever use of natural light, the kitchen became the focal point of the home. A combination of earthy Spotted Gum and charcoal treated veneers were used for the sleek wall-run cabinetry. The integrated fridge and pantry were angled to suggest a sense of length in the room, featuring handles by British-based Buster & Punch. The client selected a slab of bold Atlantic Granite in black. The creation of a white powder-coated custom bench seat only added to the subtle edginess of its surrounds. The bathroom features an in-house veneer shaving cabinet detailed with custom aged brass handle and strap.
In the master bedroom, full height white robes bounced light using v-groove detailing, finished with Made Measure recessed leather handles.
